This Sat the kids competed at the Tacoma TKD tournament. They both did great!!
Karis showing off her Jahng Bong (long stick) skills... and everyone thinks a 3 year old is too young to learn this weapon! What's better- she knows a ton of cool moves and only focused on two or three for competition!
Here's Kyle sparring. (He's the one on the right, Black Gear & a Red Belt). He's definitely ready to move up and compete with the older kids; he's not too amused at the "no contact" rule for Tiny Tigers in tournament sparring. :) And guess what- if all goes well, he'll be testing for his Black Belt at the end of August, just before he starts 1st grade!
