Today was the big Buy Handmade Trunk Show in Madison Valley; Lacey came and helped. We left early, so I don't know how much stuff we sold exactly. There weren't any ladies fighting over our stuff though. Oh well, I did the best I could so I have no regrets. Plus, I got to meet a few other Etsy shop owners and they were really nice! And, I've got a nice amount of stock to list for sale. (this week, btw, I've been busy sewing for the show and we've had the most sold items ever online too! figures. when it rain, it pours. but this is nice monsoon showers of success.)
While driving back home, we saw a real, authentic English phone booth (like from Harry Potter) at a garden store so we HAD to get out and take some pictures. We told the kids we went to England today and used the visitor's entrance to the Ministry of Magic, but they didn't believe us. :) While I was walking around the booth trying to find the doorknob, I almost ran right into Shawn Kemp. That would have made a great pic. Me, an English phone booth and an almost-seven foot tall retired basketball player. I should have just asked him.
Later that evening Kaylie discovered the dryer door open and decided to put mommy's undies on her head like a hat at the exact same time I was showing the kids the phone booth pictures. Unfortunately, the flash wasn't working when she was wearing her "hat" so this picture will have to do.
