I know too many dear friends and/or family members that have died from, currently have, or have beaten cancer. I really hate it. Some days I want to have a tee shirt that says "F*ck Cancer!" You have to live in a cave to not know October is Breast Cancer month, but just in case you've been hibernating for a while... October is Breast Cancer month. And the pink ribbon is for that cause. I've changed our blog to PINK just for October. (because you all know I really do despise the color pink, unless it's for a good cause).
So yes, let's save the hooters, the ta-tas, the boob-boobs (that's what Karis called them when she was little); save 2nd base. I pray my girls will never need to worry about getting breast cancer. And I hope we never stop having hope that someday it will go away.
Perhaps it will even be one of my little girls that finds a cure.
