A few months ago Christina and Brian took the kids to the Pt. Defiance Zoo. Karis came home, enamored with the beluga whale; as he "smiled at her" when she was visiting his exhibit. (if you ask her about this, she will almost certainly demonstrate how he smiled at her. It's funny)
Each kid got to get something at the gift store, and Karis bought a Beluga Whale Toy.
She named him Whiteness. But, yesterday I was informed his name is now, "Mister Whiteness" and "Mom, please call him by his real name".
Great. What's gonna happen if she gets a Panda Bear? Name him Blackie?!

I'm afraid the "smiling story" may be a little bit my fault, we were starting to fade a little bit by that point! :P didn't we get her a "whiteness aka snowflake" then too??
