Seattle Asian Art Museum

The other day we went to the free admission Saturday at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. It was fun- I'm glad we went (but you won't see us purchasing a family pass anytime soon). Also enjoyed a fun time at Volunteer Park, which is right next to the museum.

During a special art time, there were musicians singing ancient Asian songs. Very hip. :)

Riding the camels outside the museum

Only David, DJ and I thought this was funny. The other kids couldn't figure out why we thought it was funny.

The SAAM has a nice area just for kids- including Korean "hanboks" to try on!

This is David. He's a family friend. we like him lots.

This water tower is TALL. And very beautiful- all brick.

"Lucky" for me, we got to go inside and DJ had me run up the stairs to make up for missing out on the Saturday morning workout. 150 stairs. Glad I didn't have to carry Kaylie up them.

Views from the tower. I could be Rapunzel with a view like this!

The Space Noodle

The park had these cool trees we could climb too.
