Here's pictures of the kids in their costumes. Kyle's pretty easy to understand- he's a ninja. Karis is a "Spider Queen", a combination of Spiderman and a Queen. (she first wanted to be a queen, so we bought a crown. Then she wanted to change her mind and be Spiderman, but I told her we weren't buying another costume, so she got creative and became a spider queen.) Grandma Kate sewed her awesome spidery queen cape. The day of Halloween she wanted to morph into a "Spider Queen Camo Girl" and wear camo pants. Luckily she forgot about that when it came time to get dressed.
Kaylie is a Bat Belt Baby. She's what happens when Bat(man) Baby trains in Taekwondo with the rest of the family at ATA "Bat" Belt Academy, so she's got Taekwondo pants on with a ninja headband and a batman cape. Surprisingly, she never messed with her ninja headband.
We went trick-or-treating around Burien, in Grandma Lorena's neighborhood. There were lots of kids in the area; we were out for about 1 hour and the kids received waaaaay too much candy. In fact, we still have candy leftover from last year.
Guess it's a good thing my kids don't love candy like some other kids do, and we'll just throw it all away pretty soon. Or, recycle it and pawn it off onto other people somehow. :)

Thanks for all the updates! I love all the creative costumes, we're pretty mainstream I guess, not quite as exciting. :)
