It was one heck of a weekend for my little boy that's growing up. Friday morning was his last day of Kindergarten, and that night he did NOT pass his test at Taekwondo. (didn't break his boards.) That was the first time he's dealt with something like that; and he took it like a man! Didn't cry or show disappointment at testing, and was respectful even though he didn't get his new belt.
Then, Saturday he bought his first slingshot, Sunday he shot his first gun, and Tuesday at 11am he bought his first pocketknife. At 12pm, he got his first cut from his first pocketknife.
What has happened to my little baby?! Oh, I know. He's growing into a character-filled young man.
