Walk for a Cure
Saturday we went down to Qwest Field to cheer on Kari, her mother and their family as they participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk for a Cure. It was overwhelming to see so many people there filling the Viaduct, and sad to see so many "In Memory Of" signs. We even saw Coach Holmgren walking! The Survivors Parade was inspiring, to see the strength of all those women fighting breast cancer; and to see a "25+ years" section of survivors was encouraging.
